My name is Katy I am a married mother of 3 children who have all been or are currently at Ilsham C of E Academy.  

After graduating from Birmingham University with a degree in Hospitality Management I have worked in some of the worlds finest hotels and restaurants. I now own two businesses employing over 25 staff.  Our restaurant, The Elephant, has been awarded most of Britain’s highest accolades and along with my husband we have maintained a Michelin star for 14 years consecutively.

I am self motivated and passionate about training the future and I enjoy seeing young people rising through the ranks and take immense pride in their work ethics.  I feel as a parent ambassador I am approachable and dependable and have the children’s best interests at heart and always listen to any suggestions that support the development of our Torquay Hub academies.
